Sacramento County Junior Championship

*This is a JGANC Premier Event*

The 57th annual Sacramento County Junior Championship will be contested at Mather Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday, June 16-17, 2025. The tournament is open to all junior golfers ages 12-18 as of June 16, 2025. Players ages 18 may participate provided they have not started college prior to June 16.

The entry fee is $90 for both JGANC members and non-JGANC members and includes green fees, range balls and awards. The field will be limited to the first 100 players so be sure to register early. The entry deadline is June 2, 2025, at 11:59 pm.

The tournament format is 36 holes of stroke play – 18 on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. There will be separate flights for 16-18 boys, 14-15 boys, 12-13 boys, 16-18 girls, 14-15 girls and 12-13 girls. Ties for the overall boys champion (from the 14-18 age groups) and girls champion (from the 14-18 age groups) will be played off in a sudden death format. All other ties will be broken in accordance with USGA Decisions on The Rules of Golf, Appendix 1, Section C, Item 11.

Tee times will begin at 8:30am on both days. Contestants must check in at the first tee about 10 minutes prior to their starting time.

Non-JGANC members must register with a paper entry form that is available online (when registration opens), or through the second registration link below. Per JGANC’s policy, non-JGANC members will only be accommodated if space is available AFTER the June 2, 2025, entry deadline.
