Sacramento Valley Women’s Championship

*An NCGA Points Tournament*

The Sacramento Golf Council and the Haggin Oaks Team are excited to host the Sacramento Valley Women’s Amateur (SVWA) at the classic Alister Mackenzie GC @ Haggin Oaks on Saturday & Sunday, June 3-4, 2023.

This is an NCGA Point Tournament for both the Senior and Open Division. The SVWA is designed for the “Top Women Amateur Golfers in the West” with the following flights. All play will be at Gross Scores with prizes for each flight.

The $199 Entry Fee includes green fees both days, tee prize, range balls and awards. Players wishing to rent a cart will be able to do so in the pro shop for a $19 Cart Fee. All play will be in groups of three to ensure a proper pace of play. $20 practice rounds will be available for contestants after noon the 7 days prior to the event. Gift Cards will be awarded to the top finishers.

The competition will be stroke play over 36 holes (18 holes each day). Tee times will begin at 10:00am on June 3rd and 7:00am on June 4th. Pairings will be based on Index. Sunday tee times will be repaired based on first round scores.

If a tie occurs for the Championship, a sudden victory playoff will commence immediately following play from the 1st tee.

The Championship will be conducted using the Golf Genius Software, including communication, pairings and scoring.

The entry deadline is May 25th, 2023. There will be no refunds after this date. Withdrawals prior to the entry deadline will be assessed a $10 cancelation fee.
