The 85th annual Peggy Dodds Sacramento City Junior Golf Championship will be contested at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 6 and 7, 2021.
The tournament is open to all junior golfers ages 7 to 18 as of July 6, 2021. Those who are age 18 may participate as long as they have not started college prior to July 6, 2021. All players should know the basic etiquette and rules of golf and be ready to play competitive tournament golf.
The tournament format is as follows: Ages 12 to 18 will play 36 holes medal play on the Alister MacKenzie course, with tee times starting at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday and tee times starting at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Ages 7-11 will play 9 holes medal play on the Arcade Creek course with tee times starting at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday and tee times starting at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Players will be paired as closely as possible by age and ability. Second day pairings will be determined by scores posted on the first day.
The entry fee is $85 for ages 12 to 18 and $50 for ages 7-11, and includes green fees, range balls and awards.
The entry deadline is June 24, 2021.
