The Peggy Dodds Sacramento City Junior Golf Championship will be contested at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 16 and 17, 2019.
The tournament is open to all junior golfers ages 7 to 18 as of July 17, 2019. Those who are age 18 may participate as long as they have not started college prior to July 16, 2019. All players should know the basic etiquette and rules of golf and be ready to play competitive tournament golf.
The tournament format is as follows: Ages 12 to 18 will play 36 holes medal play - 18 holes on the Alister MacKenzie course, and 18 holes on the Arcade Creek course – with tee times starting at 8:00 a.m. on both days. Ages 7-11 will play 9 holes medal play on the Tuesday, July 16th on the front nine of the Arcade Creek course with tee time starting at 9:00 a.m. and 9 holes medal play on Wednesday, July 17th on the back 9 of the Arcade Creek course with tee times starting at 9:00 a.m.. Players will be paired as closely as possible by age and ability. Second day pairings will be determined by scores posted on the first day.
The entry fee is $90 for ages 12 to 18 and $60 for ages 7-11, and includes green fees, lunch and awards.
The entry deadline is July 8, 2019.
JGANC members must register online using the first registration link below. Non-JGANC members must register with a paper entry form that is available through the second registration link below.
