Rodriguez and Lee Crowned Champions at Junior Easter Championship

The 75th Sacramento City Jr. Easter Championship was contested at Bing Maloney Golf Complex on April 15th and 16th, 2025. There were 94 players, ages 7-18. Players ages 7-11, played 9 holes each day on the Express Nine Course. Players ages 12-18, played 18 holes each day on the Championship Course. The weather and course conditions were very good this year. It was an enjoyable two days watching these Juniors compete.

The Boys & Girls Overall Champions are the Low Gross Player from the 14-15 or 16-18 Age Divisions.

Boys Overall Champion, Reynaldo Rodriguez, (Boys 16-18), is from El Dorado Hills, CA.
Reynaldo shot a 7 under Par, 137. With his impressive win, Reynaldo is given an exemption into the prestigious State Fair Men’s Amateur Championship. This Championship is held during the Labor Day weekend on the Alister MacKenzie Course at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex.

Girls Overall Champion, Madalynn Lee, (Girls 16-18), is from Milpitas, CA. Madalynn shot an impressive 9 under Par, 135.
