Player of the Year Awards

In 2022, the Sacramento Golf Council introduced the Sacramento Player of the Year Awards, to be given to the golfers with the most points in the top championships in the Sacramento Area. Four awards will be presented as follows: Sacramento Men's Player of the Year, Sacramento Senior Men's Player of the Year, Sacramento Super Senior Men's Player of the Year, Sacramento Women's Player of the Year and Sacramento Women's Senior Player of the Year.

2025 Players' Of the Year Sponsors

Points will be distributed for each championship as follows (ties split points):

1st place - 100 points
2nd place - 75 points

3rd place - 60 points
4th place - 50 points

5th place - 40 points
6th place - 35 points

7th place - 30 points
8th place - 25 points

9th place - 20 points
10th place - 15 points

Each awardee will be presented with a $500 gift card to be used at the Sacramento City or County Golf Course of their choice and their name will be inscribed on a perpetual plaque to be displayed at one of the courses.
