McCallister and Morgan Capture Victory at 3rd Annual Sacramento Senior City 4-Ball Championship

The third annual Sacramento Senior City 4-ball Championship was contested at the Bing Maloney Golf Course on April 11-13, 2025. Play began on Friday April 11th with 15 teams attempting to qualify for 8 spots and seeding in match play. The team of Chris and James Bailey were medalists in the qualifying round, shooting 8 under 64 to earn the number one seed. Quarterfinal matches began on Saturday morning April 12th, with semifinal matches on Saturday afternoon. The final match went off early Sunday morning April 13th between Bob McCallister and Mark Morgan against Mark Casey and Todd Howe. The match seesawed back and forth with stellar play from all competitors. McCallister and Morgan pulled it out in the end with a 1 up victory. Congratulations!
The Tournament dates were pushed back two weeks to try and catch some good weather and we sure did, beautiful clear sunny cool mornings and pleasant afternoons enjoyed all three days.
Thanks to all the competitors. Thanks to the Staff and Tournament Director Mychal Weitzman of Bing Maloney for another outstanding job. The volunteers from the Sacramento Golf Council again were superb. The devotion and consideration unmatched. Thank you.
