VonSeeger Captures California State Fair Mid-Amateur Golf Championship

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Stefan Von Seeger claimed the 2025 California State Fair Mid-Amateur Golf Championship, played August 22-23 at Bing Maloney Golf Course.

Von Seeger posted scores of 68 and 67 for a 135 total, beating the 2025 Sacramento Golf Council Player of the Year, Taylor Knoll, by two strokes.

The championship was open to male amateur golfers age 30 and older with a World Handicap System Index of 6.8 or lower.

The event was conducted by the Sacramento Golf Council, with Sean Wong serving as tournament directer.
