2024 Sacramento Senior County 4-Ball Championship

The 3rd Sacramento County Senior 4-Ball Championships was contested at Mather Golf Course on October 25-27, 2024.

Fourteen teams competed in the qualifying round on Friday, October 25th to advance to match play with an 8-team bracket. The team of Mark Morgan and Chris Miller shot a blistering 10-under 62 to claim the #1 seed for match play, only to be eliminated by the 8th seed in the first round of match play. Match play began on Saturday morning, October 26th, followed by semifinal matches on Saturday afternoon. The teams of Dwain Barfuss and Mike Phillips, and John Jaramillo and Dean Prince advanced to the final round on Sunday morning, October 27th. The match was back and forth on the front 9 with Barfuss and Phillips taking a 1 up lead after the front 9. They extended their lead to 2 up with a birdie on #14. Then Jaramillo and Prince closed the gap by winning the 16th hole. Barfuss and Phillips then birdied the 17th hole to close out the match 2 & 1.
