2024 County Senior & Super Senior

The 51st Annual Sacramento County Senior and Super Championship was held on May 7-8 at Ancil Hoffman Golf Course in Carmichael. This time of the year, Hoffman is always in beautiful condition.

102 players from all over Northern California battled windy conditions, especially Wednesday, making for very tough test of golf. In the Senior Division, Mike Stieler from Manteca, with a score of 70-74-144 outlasted Anthony Vaccaro 73-75-148, Craig Miyamoto 76-73-149, and past champion Mark Morgan 77-73-150.

In the Super Senior Division, Casey Boyns the defending champ, was the only player to break par this year with 69-73-142. Joey Ferrari 71-75-146 finished 2nd. Jim Knoll 74-75 149, and Matt Vukicevich 71-78 tied for 3rd.

Six players competed in the Legend Division (75 years old and older). Bob Olds (84 years young) was the winner with 77-78-155. Ron Johnson 75-84-159 finished 2nd. Vic Shellenberg 78-82 finished 3rd.
