2024 City Men’s Championship

On a beautiful weekend in Sacramento, Mitchell Hoey from Alamo, California captured the Sacramento City Championship – shooting a consistent 68-68,136 total at eight under par. Mitchell won by two strokes. Luke Dugger from Davis, California was second at six under par 138. Patrick Dumag from Sacramento, Trenton Stuart, from Folsom and Jacob Goode from San Francisco tied for third at five under par 139. We had a full field of 108 players.

The winner received a beautiful crystal trophy and a $750 gift card. His name goes on the perpetual trophy.

We had two holes-in-one during the tournament from Conner Penfold and Justin Kiester. They now have a new nickname – ace.

I would like to thank Mike Woods and Murray Salisbury and the entire staff at Haggin Oaks Golf Course. The head greenskeeper Rick White and his staff had the Alister MacKenzie course in absolutely beautiful condition.

The Sacramento Golf Council members who volunteered did a fantastic job of putting on the golf tournament.
