2018 City Senior/Super Sr
The 50th Sacramento City Senior and 9th Sacramento City Super Senior Championship was contested at Big Maloney Golf Course on July 24th and 25th. Players endured nearly 100+ heat for two days of play with the following results.
Senior Division (ages 55 – 64)
Tony Padilla, representing Winchester County Club, shot a two-day total of eight under par 136 (69-67) to capture first place. Jim Knoll from Rooster Run Golf Club finished second with a score of 141 (70-71). Corey West, Monterey Peninsula Country Club, and Dave Baskins, Del Paso County Club, tied for third with a two-day total of 145.
Super Senior champion Herb Jensen
Super Senior Division (ages 65 and above)
Herb Jensen, representing Del Paso Country Club, finished first with a two-day total of four under par 140 (71-69). Second place went to Charles Richesin from Woodbridge Country Club with a score of 143 (70-73), while third place went to Tom Marks from the Sacramento Golf Club with a score of 145 (70-75).
