Abalateo and Rawson Shine as Champions at 76th Sacramento Jr. Easter Championship

The 76^th Sacramento Jr. Easter Championship was contested at Bing Maloney Golf Course on March 31^st & April 1^st, 2026.  Juniors ages 7-11 played 9 Holes each day on the Express 9 Course and juniors ages 12-18 played 18 Holes each day on the Bing Championship Course.  There were a lot of talented Jr. Golfers playing golf over the two day tournament.

Boys and Girls ages 14-18 are eligible for the Overall Champion Award.

Overall Boys Champion

Boys 16-18 – Landon Abalateo         70 – 67   137

Landon Abalateo, of Fair Oaks, CA, was 7 strokes under par for the 2-day tournament.  Landon also won the Overall Boys Champion in 2023.  Landon has been playing in the Sacramento Golf Council’s Jr. Tournaments since he was 7 years old.
