Champions Crowned at the 58th City Senior, 17th Super Senior, and Legends Men’s Golf Championships

Sacramento, CA – The Sacramento Golf Council hosted the 58th City Senior, 17th City Super Senior, and Legends Men’s Championships on July 21–22 at Bing Maloney Golf Course, drawing top amateur golfers from around the region.

Senior Division (Ages 55–64)
Bob Ledoux captured the Senior Championship title with a 35 foot putt on 18 with a score of 68/72/140 to defeat William Bounce by one stroke. Bounce scored 69/71/141. Third place went to Tom Clark scoring 72/71/143.

Super Senior Division (Ages 65+)
Terry Foreman is Super Senior Champion, with a score of 72/67/139. Second place went to Mark Morgan with a score of 68/72/140. Third place went to Brady Donoghue with a score of 69/72/141.

Legends Division (Ages 75+)
Robert Cook won the Legends Championship with a score of 72/77/149, second place went to Herb Jensen with a score of 78/74/152, third place was Bob Fleming, with a score of 76/79/155.

The tournament welcomed male amateur golfers in three age divisions:
Senior Division (55–64): GHIN index of 9.4 or less, playing from blue tees (~6,550 yards)
Super Senior Division (65+): GHIN index of 11.4 or less, playing from white tees (~6,300 yards)
Legends Division (75+): GHIN index of 13.4 or less, playing from gold tees (~5,900 yards)

The event was directed by Rhea Harris, a dedicated volunteer with the Sacramento Golf Council, which organizes 25 City and County tournaments annually for amateur golfers.
