2022 City Senior/Super Sr

The 2022 Sacramento City Senior & Super Senior Championship was held at Bing Maloney Golf Course on July 19 and 20. Weather was great both day, although a bit hot near 100 – not uncommon for a summer day in Sacramento.

The Senior Division was very competitive with six players within two shots of the lead for most of the final round. Dean Prince from Rocklin captured the title over Mark Morgan from Shingle Springs in a playoff by carding a birdie on the 5th extra hole. Both players finished with a two day total of 2 under 142.

In the Super Senior Division, Gary Ramsden from Sacramento shot a blistering 65 – seven birdies and no bogies – to pass several players on the final day with a two day total of 6 under par 138. Second place went to the NCGA Super Senior Player of the year, Jeff Burda from Modesto
