The SGC’s County Vintage Women’s Net Championship and the Vintage Super Senior Championship were played at Mather GC on 6/1 and 6/2, under perfect weather and course conditions. Pam Katros of Roseville bested Vicki Philpott to win, shooting 140, a two under par total. In the Super Senior Men’s Championship (65 years and older), Joey Ferrari started out hot, matching his age, with an opening round of 7 under par 65. In the final round, experienced champion, Jeff Burda roared back with a 66 to win by two strokes.
