2013 County Women’s

Ancil Hoffman Golf Course June 1,2

The Sacramento County Women’s Championship was held June 1-2 at Ancil Hoffman Golf Course in Carmichael. The 2nd Flt. was won by Colleen Wight with net scores of 67-72-139 total. Jan Hoffman finished 2nd with 70-73-143. Ellen Thomas was 3rd. with 70-76-146.

First Flight winner was Lynn Hanamura 70-70-140. There was a tie for 2nd. Linda Wilson 73-71-144 and Spencer Downey 73-71-144. Charlotte Wells finished 3rd with 72-78-150.

Casie Cathrea continued her dominance in the Championship Flight, winning for the 4th time in as many years with a 6-under 73-67-140. She closed her Sunday round with a Birdie, Eagle, Par Birdie finish. Megan Shain finished 2nd with a solid 2-under par 72-72-144. There was a tie for 3rd at 1-under par. Kelsey Ulep 71-74-145 and Sagee Palavivatana 73-72-145. Hannah Suh finished 5th at even par 73-73-146.

The Shot of the tournament goes to Kelsey Ulep with a rare Double-Eagle 2 on the par 5 16th, holing a 7 iron from 150yds.

Interesting fact here, all three winners won by four strokes!
