The Sacramento County 4-Ball Championship was held at Mather Golf Course on October 22-23 and 29-30, 2022, with ideal weather conditions both weekends. A qualifying round was held on October 22 to determine the 32 teams to advance to match play on October 23. The final two teams, defending champions, Marc Engellenner and his partner Bobby Bucey, faced their opponents Reese Sato and Julian Monas. Sato and Monas started the final round birdie, eagle to forge a 2 up lead after two. The match remained 2 up until the 9th hole when Bucey birdied to close the gap. Sato and Monas remained 1 up until the 14th hole when Engellenner birdied to square the match. Engellenner proceeded to birdie 15 and 16 to go two up with two holes to play.
