2018 County Senior & Super Senior
The 45th annual Sacramento County Men’s Senior & Super Senior Championship was held May 8th and 9th, 2018 at Ancil Hoffman G.C. in Carmichael, Ca. 76 players ages 55 to 78 traveled from as far away as Bakersfield, South Lake Tahoe, Paradise and San Jose to compete in this year’s event. The players were blessed with great weather and a golf course in beautiful condition. The senior division was won by Tony Padilla with a 2 under par score 70-72-142. Bryan Lynn from Bakersfield finished 2nd with 73-72-145. Bob Thomason birdied #18 to shoot even par 70-74-144 edging out Bob Olds at 71-74-145 to win the super senior division.
The shot of the tournament goes to Sacramento’s own Allen White. Allen knocked in a 9 iron from 135 yards on #17 for an “ace” on day one.
