The 2016 Sacramento County Net Men’s Champion is Ross Wallacei, from Ancil Hoffman golf club. Ross won at an incredible 130, winning by four strokes over Ray Cheung. Wallace played to a 19 handicap, scoring net 66 and 64. The SGC Tournament Index policy helped level the playing field for a fair competition for all. Course conditions were tough Saturday. Rain blessed us Sunday, and the course was unplayable for the second round. Play was rescheduled for the following Sunday, Oct 23. Council Members Greg Hovious worked the event all day, both days, and did a great job running the show! The staff of Empire Golf and the County of Sacramento were gracious and helpful.
